The activities of the second in-person meeting of the European project “Road to Olympics” continued with great interest at the Peace and Friendship Stadium, which is hosting all actions of the four-day training program, with the participation of Olympiacos SFP.

This is a major European initiative under the auspices of the European Commission, implemented through the Erasmus+ programme. Its goal is to provide innovative skills and specialized knowledge to high-level athletes from Ukraine and other countries, through a pioneering methodology developed by the International Center of Taekwondo. This methodology aims at the holistic development of athletes, both competitively and personally, within a modern educational framework.

During the second day, a presentation was held on the Neurotracker cognitive training system, which is based on the Dual-Task methodology. The presentation included a live demonstration of techniques that help athletes improve perception, focus, and decision-making under high-pressure conditions.

At the same time, Kinetic Analysis BV presented the new IDRO technology, an innovative system for non-invasive and continuous monitoring of lactate levels in athletes. IDRO provides accurate real-time fitness assessments, supporting tailored training to maximize performance.

The day concluded with a comparative analysis of data collected from previous training sessions. Through group discussions between athletes and coaches, valuable insights were shared regarding the effectiveness of the applied techniques and potential improvements to the methodology.
