Olympiacos delegation goes to Brussels on Tuesday in order to attend the annual General Assembly of the European Multisport Club Association Athletic (EMCA) and the European Union's Sport Info Day. This year meeting in the Belgian capital includes a series of meetings in the view of the club participation in European Erasmus + projects.
The first meetings are related to the “APPLE” and “Sports & Diabetes” projects, where the respective coordinators Lazio and Bayer Leverkusen will present the main details and the timetable of the actions. The club will also participate in the EMCA General Assembly by reviewing the initiatives taken place in 2019 as well as new proposals expected to be submitted in April. On Thursday, the meetings will be moved to the European Commission, where the Sport Info Day will be hosted so as to present and explore new sport opportunities and develop new partnerships between European sport clubs and organizations. The final meeting is that of the projects’ coordinators of the 2020 projects with Olympiacos participating as the organizing authority of the Disability Water Sports.
It is recalled that Olympiacos is involved in 4 new European initiatives and 3 have been ongoing since 2019. In the seven projects that the club takes part in, new innovative proposals are coming up that will be discussed with representatives of other European associations and submitted to the European Commission in the next months.
