A first meeting of the Champions League teams was held in Rome on Thursday (11/10).

Olympiacos, Barcelona, Eger, Brescia, Steaua Bucharest, Crvena Zvezda, Pro Recco, FTC Telekom Budapest, Dynamo Moscow, Jug, Havk Mladost, Jadran Split, Hannover, Spandau, Szolnoki and BPM Sport Management participated in the meeting a week before the official start of the competition. A special reference was made at the European Champion, Olympiacos presenting a video of the final-eight in Genoa. During the meeting, organizational, broadcasting and marketing issues were discussed and the time schedule of the games was also finalized. Olympiacos was represented by the General Secretary, Mrs. Christina Tsiligkiri.
