Secured the qualification to the next round!
An excellent event was organized by Olympiacos at the Martial Arts facilities on the Stadium "G. Karaiskakis» on Thursday 14 November. The action "Tae Kwon Do for People with Disabilities" was carried out in cooperation with the International Tae Kwon Do Federation for People with Disabilities and under the auspices of the Municipality of Piraeus, the Unesco, the Xinis Educational Group and the sport management company C.J.T.
Olympiacos organizes the campaign “Draw mental disability” in collaboration with the Municipality of Piraeus and the Department of Lifelong Learning and Education of the Municipality of Piraeus in the framework of the European project "Sports For Different Heroes".
Having an excellent performance, Olympiacos got a very important victory against Szolnoki (8-7) in one of the toughest Champions League seasons. The Reds expanded their eventual winning streak in the Group A and remain at the top of the group with 12 points in combination with the defeat of Jug by Jadran Split.
Having a very good defensive performance in the first half, Olympiacos won Namur with 83-55 in Belgium for the fourth Eurocup match-day. The Reds were dominant in the match having a 23-point lead in the first half and keeping it until the end. This was the third victory of the team which faces Valencia in a home match on 27 November. Thomas and Gemelos were the top scorers with 23 points and Graves added 13 ones.

Olympiacos did a perfect start in the CEV Women’s Challenge Cup dominating against Porfyras with 0-3 easily in the Rentis sporting hall. Olympiacos was decisive in the beginning of the game and made the first step to qualify to the next round proving that it’s at a higher level than the opponent. Now, the team wants to secure the qualification in the second leg on Wednesday 20 November and face the Israeli one Hapoel Kfar Saba in the second round.

In an excellent second half, Olympiacos won against VBW CEKK Cegled with 93-53 at the Peace and Friendship Stadium for the third Eurocup matchday. Although they were back in the first quarter, the “Reds’’ improved their defense and went ahead in the half-time. In the third period, Olympiacos increased the margin and celebrated an easy 40-point victory. Gemelos was the top scorer with 13 points.

In an amazing game, Argyropoulos scored 1:23 before the end and Olympiacos celebrated its third victory winning against Jadran with 8-7. Jokovic was the top scorer with four goals and the team had a good defensive performance. The next game is held in Hungary against Szolnoki (8/11).
