Olympiacos promotes the exchange and mobility in sport!

The first meeting of the project “Multisport Academy” in the framework of European Week of Sport was held in Rome with great interest. An eight-member Olympiacos delegation attended the meetings organized by the coordinator Lazio in the Italian capital from 23 September to 27 September.

A defeat by BLMA

The women’s basketball team was defeated by BLMA with 63-66 in the match held in Chalkida. The French team started the game strongly but the “Reds’’ tied and led with 12 in the middle of the second period. Olympiacos was ahead with +8 (39-31) in the halftime and increased the margin to +15 in the third period. BLMA ran a strike and the match became a derby in the last quarter. The French team won and Olympiacos need a 4-point victory in the second math to qualify to the Euroleague group stage.

Olympiacos participates in the “Multisport Academy” meeting!

Olympiacos delegation has been in Rome since Monday morning in the view of the “Multisport Academy” meeting. The clubs’ representatives will be hosted at the Lazio facilities to know more about the working environment of the Italian club and the general Italian sport system. The five-day meeting held in the Italian Capital is the first of the four ones that will take place during the project and Olympiacos is prepared to show its leadership role in the initiatives of the European Commission and the European Multisport Club Association.

Olympiacos signs Stefan Zivojinovic!

Olympiacos announces the agreement with Stefan Zivojinovic. The Serbian goalkeeper (8/7/1989) signed a  contract with our club and is part of the men's water polo roster. Stefan Zivojinovic is international with the Serbian National Team winning the 2014 World Cup and being the best goalkeeper of the tournament. He has also won the Champions League (2010/11) and the Super Cup (2011) playing for Partizan.

The Handball player, Angelos Tsilis, supports the initiative "Sports For Different Heroes" in order to promote sport to people with intellectual disabilities.

Olympiacos SFP announces the agreement with Bashaara Graves. The American basketball player (Date of Birth: 17/03/1994) has a height of 1.88m. and plays as a power forward and center.
