The meetings in the Belgian capital continued with the European Commission Sport Info Day at the "Charlemagne" building. This workshop takes place within the European Commission, informing prospective participants about the Erasmus+ initiatives that will run during the year.
The launch of the event was delivered by the Head of Erasmus+ Department, Sophie Beernarts and European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, Mariya Gabriel. The workshop included interesting presentations on the objectives and areas to be highlighted this year, key guidelines for submitting new proposals as well as the criteria for final selection and approval. Moreover, three different seminars were held on the evaluation of applications and projects, their financial analysis, European opportunities for 'small' collaborative partnerships. In the last part of the workshop, the next cycle of the Erasmus + programme that will run from 2021 to 2027 was presented.
This workshop was particularly useful and informative for new actions, giving attendees the opportunity to discuss new initiatives on the European sporting scene. Now, the club's interest is focused on preparing new proposals and implementing exciting sporting initiatives at European level.
