Having another excellent performance, the men’s water polo team did another away victory in the group stage of Champions League. The ‘’Reds’’ beat Dynamo Moscow 13-9 reaching 11 wins and secure the first position in the Group A. Genidounias and Obradovic were the top scorers with three goals. 

The big game of Group A turned into a lopsided contest as Olympiacos was too strong for Brescia (ITA) this time. Having an excellent performance, Olympiacos beat Brescia 13-6 in Papastrateio and secured the qualification to the final-8 of the Champions League. The next game is against Dynamo Moscow on Saturday 28 April. 

The women’s water polo team added another important distinction in the club history. Although it was defeated by Dunaujvaros 13-11 but it is amazing that three different sections played in three European finals in three days.

Olympiacos achieved another important success in the European competitions. Following the winning of the CEV women’s Challenge Cup and the second position in the men’s one, the women’s water polo team qualified to the final of LEN Trophy as it beat Padova 10-4 in the Final Four semifinal held in Mataro. The ‘’Reds’’ will face Dunaujvaros in the final on Saturday.

Ravenna claimed an important victory in the first matchup from the final phase of the Challenge Cup. The Italians took a 3-1 win over their opponents from Olympiacos PIRAEUS.

Olympiacos qualified to the semifinals of Challenge Cup as won Menen 3-0 in the second game held at Renti. More than 1000 fans didn’t stop to sing assisting their team to have a great performance and play two sets at high standards celebrating the qualification. It will face the Russian Gazprom-Ugra Surgut which won the Swiss Nafels.
