Olympiacos seems a sure bet for winning the group as they led by four points thanks to another fine victory. The Greeks built a safe distance against Partizan in Belgrade and after going 0-4 up they just took care of maintaining the gap. In the last quarter, both teams scored three goals and the match ended 4-7.

Olympiacos proved they deserve to contest the final stage of the CEV Challenge Cup as they beat Dinamo KRASNODAR in straight sets. After playing a five setter in the first leg of the semi-final phase, the Greek team hit hard from the beginning of the match, proving a contender for the CEV Challenge Cup trophy.

The women’s water polo team will continue its European presence in the Final Four of Len Trophy after the defeat by Kirishi (10-11) in the rematch of the quarter-final held in Papastrateio. This was the first home defeat after four years when the ‘’Reds’’ had defeated by Sabadell in the season 2013-2014.

The Greek power of Olympiacos opened the first round of the semi-finals of the 2018 CEV Volleyball Challenge Cup - Men with a great success vs their well-known opponent of Gazprom-Ugra SURGUT.  The players around head coach Fernando Muñoz Benitez were “on fire” and took a 3-0 win, not allowing the home team to take control of the game at any time.

Olympiacos did another win being closer to Genoa. Having a superb performance in the first half, the men’s water polo team was dominant against OSC Budapest 10-7 for the 10th day of Champions League. This was the 8th victory for the Reds reaching 25 points and continues their impressive presence making another step for the first position of the group and the qualification to the Final-8 held in Genoa in June.
