"Mind Training on the First Day of Road to Olympics in Madrid"
An Olympiacos delegation is currently in Madrid, participating in the in-person meeting of the prestigious European program "Road to Olympics." This meeting aims to provide innovative skills and knowledge to high-level athletes from Ukraine and other countries. The program implements a pioneering methodology developed by the International Taekwondo Center, which aspires to enhance the growth and development of athletes through a modern educational framework.
During the first day of the training session, Olympiacos athletes, along with Ukrainian athletes currently in Spain, took part in a unique "mind training." This method focuses on mental preparation, which subsequently improves physical performance. Through this research, which combines exercise with concentration, each athlete trains their mind. In six months, a corresponding meeting will be held in Greece, where the results of the research will be presented.
The "Road to Olympics" program is supported by the European Commission through Erasmus+, and the meetings are taking place this week as part of the European Be Active week.
Olympiacos is in Spain with a delegation of six male and female athletes.
