A delegation from Olympiacos participated in the meeting of the European HIEP Program, which took place on October 10, 2024, in Ancient Olympia, as part of the EPSI General Assembly. Representatives from the Italian L'Orma SSD ARL, Master Group Sport S.r.I., and the University of Constanta from Romania were also present, along with the Olympiacos team.

The main goals of the HIEP program focus on developing handball as a tool for promoting sports among children and young people. Through the creation of digital educational tools and their integration into an e-learning platform, modules will be provided to train coaches. Olympiacos, as an active partner, contributes to the dissemination of handball and the enhancement of its popularity, while promoting increased participation in the sport and improving coaches' skills.

During the meeting, important topics were discussed, such as the scheduling of Local Workshops, with the first one expected by the end of 2024. Additionally, Olympiacos took on the organization of the Handball Small Festival, which will take place before Christmas.

Finally, there was a discussion on the application process for new programs, while the next steps include the completion of the Mid-Term Report, the preparation of Local Workshops and the Handball Festival, as well as the continued promotion of the program’s actions.
