A delegation from Olympiacos traveled to Ljubljana, Slovenia, to participate in the meeting of the European DigiFit Program of the European Commission, under Erasmus+, which took place on Wednesday, November 13.
The primary goal of the DigiFit program is to develop digital skills and capabilities for grassroots organizations and the individuals involved in them, contributing to the future sustainable development and cohesion of Europe. By aiming for innovation in the field of grassroots sports, the program makes a substantial contribution to the priorities set by the European Union, enhancing innovation and bridging the gap in knowledge, skills, and capabilities. Consequently, the program's objective is to create a layer of protection and resilience for grassroots sports organizations in the coming years.
During the meeting, significant topics were discussed, including the program's planning. Olympiacos hosted a discussion panel, presenting the team’s perspective and experience in the program. Additionally, to foster the creativity of attendees, the team organized a Lego assembly exercise.
Finally, the next steps for each partner’s contribution to the program's completion were outlined. Future meetings of the program will continue in the coming months, aiming for the project's ongoing success.
