An important victory against Szolnoki and first position in the Group A!

Having an excellent performance, Olympiacos got a very important victory against Szolnoki (8-7) in one of the toughest Champions League seasons. The Reds expanded their eventual winning streak in the Group A and remain at the top of the group with 12 points in combination with the defeat of Jug by Jadran Split. Olympiacos started the match decisively and the two goals at the end of the third period and the excellent defensive performance helped to reach the final 8-7 adding three valuable away points which are very important for the qualification to the Final-8. Mylonakis and Mitrovic were the top scorers for Olympiacos scoring two goals. The Reds host the German team Spandau in the next match in Piraeus on 19 November.
