An impressive victory in Hungary!

The ‘’Legend’’ did another important victory as it beat OSC Budapest 10-6 and keeps its impressive performance having four wins and a draw in the first five days of Champions League. It was the absolute dominant in Budapest and remains on the top of the group. 

Key action

OSC Budapest was the team scored first but Olympiacos replied with two goals by Mourikis and Genidounias taking the lead of the game and kept it until the end of the first quarter. Also, the ‘’Legend’’ had a great defensive performance keeping the Hungarians scoreless in the first minutes of the second period. The hosts tied but Genidounias gave the lead again immediately. The Greek player widened the margin to two goals at the halftime (3-50)

Nikolaidis was excellent in the beginning of the second half winning a penalty and scoring a goal (3-7). Olympiacos continued to control the rhythm and run a 5-0 streak. Budapest scored two consecutive goals but the Greek team continued to be the dominant. The game ended 10-6 and the ‘’Reds’’ already broke three points clear after five rounds being the only unbeaten side in the entire field.
