With the "core" of the winners and great expectations!

In the 2022-23 season, the Olympiacos Men's Volleyball team reached the conquest of the third European title in its history, after beating Maccabi Tel Aviv at the final of the Challenge Cup and becoming European Cup Winners, while also celebrating the Volleyleague Championship.
Olympiacos completed its planning for the new season (2023-24), keeping the "core" of winners! The "red-white" roster was "closed" and remained almost... unchanged!
Olympiacos changed "the steering wheel" after the departure of Alberto Giuliani and hired Daniel Castellani as a coach. The -full of titles and distinctions- Argentinean coach took over the technical leadership, with the aim of continuing the "empire" of Olympiacos!
From the roster of the last season, the two centers, Demosthenes Linardos and Nikolas Papangelopoulos, left the roster, giving their place in the net to Dimitris (Mitar) Djuric and Vangelis Vaiopoulos.
On the other hand, Dragan Travica, Salvador Indalgo, Alen Pajenk, Toncek Stern, Rafael Koumentakis, Anestis Dalakouras, Dimitris Komitoudis and Gustavo Bonato (Gustavao) renewed their contracts with the Greek Champions.
It is reminded that in the new season, Olympiacos will participate in the top European level, the CEV Champions League and will start its "journey" from the first qualifying round, against the Serbian champion Partizan and the Bosnian champion Bijelina in a qualification turnament.
