Qualified to the next round of Challenge Cup!

After a comfortable victory in the first match, the women’s volleyball team dominated against Hapoel Kfar Saba (3-2), doubling the wins and celebrating the qualification to the next round. The Reds proves their superiority, played seriously from the start, won two sets comfortably and celebrated the qualification to the 8th finals where they will face the Russian team,  Yenisei Krasnoyarsk.

The Head coach Branko Kovacevic stated: "We got the first two sets easily and sealed the qualification, which was our goal in this match. Then all the players played, our rhythm dropped and we made some mistakes, Hapoel fought and got two sets, but in the last set we reacted correctly and we got the victory in tie-break. "

The captain Stella Christodoulou mentioned: "The team has received a significant qualification. We wanted to come and win in Israel and qualify to the next phase. In the beginning, we had a very good look and got the first two sets easily, which gave us the qualification. Then all the athletes competed and it is important that at the end, we got the victory. "

Saskia Hippe underpinned: "We won the two sets needed to qualify and that was good because then all the athletes had the opportunity to play. We are happy to have won the game and now we can concentrate on the last game of the year."
